Weeks Menu and Goals

Print Friendly

Well I am hoping I am back. I took last week off for some very much needed time off, I had a whole long list of things I wanted to get done of which I got, not one of them done (Oh well they will all still be here HaHa.) I did get to go riding a few times and we took the jeep out for a day trip.

As I mentioned before Joleen and Katie moved into their own place, they are wanting to decorate a little and don’t have much money so I am looking for some do it your self ideas to help them out.

So for this week my goals are,

Get apples put up, a friend gave me a 5 gallon bucket of apples that I need to get worked up. Not sure yet what I want to do with them, can them juice them or make apple pie filling.

It has been so warm here hardly feels like fall so I haven’t done much to get my yard ready for winter so I am going to try and get that done this week.

When we bought potatoes I bought some very large pumpkins, so need to get these canned up and the seeds roasted.

I am working on afghans for the girls for Christmas so wanting to get a lot more done on these With both girls gone I am wanting to get their rooms more doable for a storage area and a spare room. Want to try and work a little on that.

The Menu for this week is,

  • Toast and Fruit
  • Oatmeal
  • Cheese omelets
  • Cereal
  • Cream of Wheat
To these I will add toast or fruit.
  • Fish Sticks
  • Scrambled eggs
  • Potatoes Soup
  • French Toast
  • Mini Pizzas

To these I will add fruit, crackers, or something as a side dish.

  • Green Enchiladas
  • Potato Soup
  • Ravioli’s
  • Salisbury Steak
  • Friday Night we have a benefit dinner to go to and Saturday night we will be going to Andy’s Mom’s
To these I will add a vegetable and appropriate side.

  • Cheese crackers
  • cereal
  • Cheese
  • Fruit
  • Yogurt

Andy’s Snack

  • Cheese cake
  • Red Velvet Cake

What are your goals this week?

Have a great week.

Love the top photo of the horses. Apples are wonderful. I got some in June and made applesauce and they have been so good. It’s almost Thanksgiving and I’ve just been concentrating on that plus have a couple of funerals to go to in the future. Not good at holiday time but it is what it is.

      Hi Joani,
The apples have been wonderful this year, I wish I would of had more time to work up more of them. Sorry about the funerals we also had a death in the family the other day, I completely agree that it is hard this time of year.
Hope all goes well and have a great day.
