I seriously love this stuff. It is so much cheaper then bisquick (and has none of the added stuff that is so bad for you) easy to make, and it has so many uses. From pancakes to desserts and every thing in between, you can go here to get more recipes to use your myo bisquick with.
I have included recipe for Hamburger pie using the myo bisquick at the bottom of the page.
MYO Bisquick
Ingredients:
- 8 cups all-purpose flour ( or 4 cups wheat flour and 4 cups white flour )
- 1-1/4 cups nonfat dry milk powder
- 1/4 cup baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 cups solid vegetable shortening
Preparation: In a large bowl, combine flour, milk, baking powder, and salt. With a pastry blender or two knives, ( I use the food processer ) cut in shortening until the mixture looks like coarse cornmeal and the shortening is evenly distributed. Store in tightly closed covered container in a dark, cool place. Will keep about 3 to 4 months. Use in place of ‘Bisquick’ or ‘Baking Mix’ in any recipe (such as pancakes, waffles, biscuits).
